Briggs Woods Park Briggs Woods is Story City RV's Closest Campground. They have 81 Campsites and 30 with Full Hookup. Also includes a lake for fishing and swimming, 18 hole golf course, and many shelters for fun activities. Brushy Creek State Park Local Equestrian and Non-Equestrian camping, Full Hookup Sites, Beaches, Fishing, and Hiking and much more. A jewel in North Central Iowa.
Lake Cornelia Located just north of Clarion, this park offers many nice campsite along with fishing, beaches, watersports, and playgrounds for the kids. Little Wall Lake
The Little Wall Lake recreational development has provided the residents of Hamilton County, central Iowa, and many tourists and visitors with a quality outdoor recreation area. The park and lake are used for camping, hiking, water skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and many more outdoor activities.
Bells Mills Park
Bells Mill Park now has camping with electrical sites. There are no actual marked camping pads. Campers are free to set up their camping units or tents on the grass areas. The park is used for camping, hiking, shelter gatherings, fishing and canoe access.
Ledges State Park
Ledges offers 94 campsites; 40 with electrical hookups (2 of which are fully accessible), 42 non-electric and 12 hike-in. Modern rest rooms, showers, a trailer dump station and a playground are located in the campground. Starting February 13, 2006 advance campsite reservations can be booked through the park reservation system. Half of the campsites are still available for self-registration on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Dolliver State Park
The Dolliver campground is located in a pleasant setting overlooking the Des Moines River. There are 33 campsites with electrical hookups, modern rest room and showers and a trailer dump station. Advance campsite reservations can be booked through the park reservation system. Half of the campsites are still available for self-registration on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Beeds Lake State Park
Beed's Lake has a very popular campground. A total of 99 of the 144 sites have electrical hookups. Modern restroom and shower facilities are available, as is a sanitary dump station. Starting February 13, 2006 advance campsite reservations can be booked through the park reservation system. Half of the campsites are still available for self-registration on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Kennedy Park
The Kennedy Park Campground offers large, shades sites for all types of camping-from the weekend tent camper to the full-time camper. Conveniently located just five miles north of Fort Dodge on County Road P-56, the park offers the camping enthusiast one of the finest camping facilities around. With a total of 100 sites, the campground contains modern restrooms and shower facilities that are cleaned daily.
